90-Foot Wallboard Knuckle Boom Crane

Our second heavy lift. 90 feet of reach, grapple saw, and the flexibility to keep a second crew on a second job the same day.

Not every heavy tree job needs 65 tons of lift capacity. When the crane is the right tool but the full weight of the COPMA 650 isn’t required, this is the one that arrives. It’s a 90-foot wallboard-style knuckle boom crane, also fitted with a grapple saw, and it runs faster setups than the bigger crane for comparable precision.

Why a second crane matters

During storm weeks, the difference between one crane and two cranes is the difference between clearing a neighborhood in four days and clearing it in two. The wallboard lets us run a second crew on a second property without waiting for the COPMA 650 to free up. For homeowners who need their driveway cleared today, that’s the difference that matters.

It also makes faster work of mid-sized removals that don’t need full 65-ton capacity:

  • Dead trees near the house but not over the roofline
  • Multiple smaller trees in the same yard
  • Storm-cleanup work where a dozen trees need to come down across a neighborhood

Grapple saw advantage

Same principle as the COPMA 650: the tree doesn’t fall. The crane reaches into the canopy, the grapple closes on a section, the saw runs, the section is lifted to the drop zone. No climber overhead, no rigging ropes crossing the yard. Safer for the crew, safer for the property.

When we bring the wallboard crane

  • Medium-sized removals where a bucket truck can’t safely reach
  • Storm response when the COPMA 650 is already committed
  • Jobs where a smaller footprint fits the property better
  • Commercial work that needs crane speed but not the full 65-ton reach
